Friends of the Library

friendsJoin the Friends and Help Your Community!

The Mission of the Friends of the Oscar Foss Memorial Library is to seek to support new library services and technologies for its public.  The group endeavors to focus attention on the library and serve as a means for citizens to become acquainted and share mutual enthusiasm for its services.

There are a number of different ways you can give to your community and your library by joining the Friends:

  • Level 1 – If you don’t have a lot of time, you can donate!  Donate baked goods, flowers for plant sales, books for book sales, gently used items for programs or yard sales.

  • Level 2 – If you have a little time available, but can’t make a regular time commitment, you can volunteer to help at the library with shelving and book covering, work at one of the Friends fundraising events or help set up for one of our programs.

  • Level 3 – You love the library and want to be REALLY involved?  GREAT!  We’d love to have you attend our monthly meetings and offer input and feedback on our fundraising programs, assist with the planning of events or act as one of the officers of the friends group.

The Friends meet every third Monday of the month at the Oscar Foss Memorial Library at 7pm.
