
Museum Reimbursement Policy
The Oscar Foss Memorial Library will reimburse library patrons up to $20 per year for the cost of admission to many New England museums. Barnstead resident card holders in good standing are eligible to request a museum refund using the form provided. Requests for reimbursement will be accepted as long as funds are available and may be discontinued at the discretion of the library board of trustees.
Museum Fund Program may be used to visit any of the following museums:

- Boston Museum of Science
- Canterbury Shaker Village
- Children’s Museum of NH
- Currier Museum of Art
- Enfield Shaker Museum
- Hamilton House
- Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum
- Little Nature Museum
- Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art
- Montshire Museum of Science
- Mount Kearsarge Indian Museum
- Museum of Fine Arts Boston
- Museum of New Hampshire History
- New Bedford Whaling Museum
- New England Aquarium
- NH Boat Museum
- NH Farm Museum
- Ogunquit Museum of American Art
- Old Sturbridge Village
- Peabody Essex Museum
- Plimouth Patuxet Museum (formerly Plymouth Plantation)
- Portland Museum of Art
- Portsmouth Museum of Art

Guidelines:
- Must be a Barnstead resident and library card holder in good standing.
- Up to $20 per year/per household can be reimbursed
- You must submit a receipt from your museum visit, along with a completed reimbursement form, showing the date of the visit and the full cost of admission.
- Requests made after the museum fund is depleted will not be processed unless additional funds are raised or donated.
- Reimbursement to a museum or educational facility other than ones listed above may be considered on a case by case basis.
